due to the retirement of prof. Ahiru Jega, who conducted the historical 2015 presidential election in Nigeria that saw the exit of an incumbent president, the new president, president Mahmadu Buhari has appointed yet another professor, prof. Mahmood Yakubu (a prof. of political history and international studies.

prof. Yakubu (who was the first 1st class student in history in northern Nigeria till date), was before now was amongst many things, the secretary of the Tertiary Education Fund (TETFUND). he is also an expert in guerilla warfare, terrorism and counter terrorism

Gas despute between Ghana and Nigeria

Nigeria supplies gas to Ghana and other west African countries like Niger, Benin Republic through the West Africa Gas pipeline.Company. however, Nigeria threatened to shut down supply to Ghana due to 181 million dollar debt that the country owe Nigeria.

However, statement from NNPC managing director, Ibe Kachikwu shows that Ghana has agreed to pay the debt by January next year

Rev. Chris Receives A Doctorate Degree

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was today honoured with doctor of Science degree. The event took place at Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma, where the man of God was schooled.

The president of Believers' Loveworld a.k.a Christembassy is not only coming for a Christian program but also for award. It was learnt that Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma has arranged to honour the anointed man of God with two doctorate degrees.

The man of God graduated from the university and has spearheaded many developmental projects in the school. 

Nigeria president Attends G7 summit in Germany

Nigeria is certainly not a member of G7 but it seems that the nigeria president was invited by Germany chancellor to attend the summit. Teachers 'took students to beach, gave them alcohol, had sex with them'

                                                       
Melody Lippert, 38, and Michelle Ghirelli, 30, were arrested over the weekend after being accused of having sexual relations with high school students during two trips to the beach last year, according to the Los Angeles Times.
In one Lippert is accused of giving alcohol to students before beginning sexual relations with one, while on a separate overnight trip weeks later they were allegedly joined by Ghirelli, who allegedly had sex with an underage male student, Orange County Sheriff’s Office claimed.
Lippert, who is accused with no sex crimes because the student she allegedly had sex with was over 18, has been charged with conspiracy and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, while Ghirelli has been charged with oral copulation and unlawful sex with a minor.
They are due in court next week and are on paid administrative leave in the meantime.
